Tracy is our Optometric Assistant/Optical dispensing person; she has been working for Hoquiam Vision Clinic for over thirty years. Tracy has a variety of positions including pre testing patients, cutting and edging lenses, selecting eyewear, front desk and some insurance billing. She is our “Jack of all Trades” in our office!
Tracy is married and has three grown children and four grandchildren, including twin granddaughters. She enjoys traveling, gardening, walking, reading and golfing. But most of all she loves spending her time with her family and friends.
Amber is our new addition to our office staff. She will be working part time and will be helping out with all office duties. Amber is a graduate from Post Falls High School in Idaho, Grays Harbor College and SPSCC Dental Assisting program. Amber previously worked in the Dental field as a Dental Assistant for seven years.
Amber enjoys her “coffee”, traveling, camping and has recently took up running. She is married and has two small, active children that keep her busy in her off time. She loves BBQ’s and spending much time with her family and friends. She enjoys getting the chance to go back to Idaho on trips to see her family and spending time having fun with her nieces and nephews.
Joy is our Billing & Insurance Specialist. She has been with the practice for over twenty years. Previously Joy had 22 years of experience in the medical field.
Joy is a lifelong resident of Grays Harbor and has lived in Ocean Shores, WA for the past 35 years. Joy is married and has two grown sons and four grandchildren. She also has three grown “bonus children” with three granddaughters and one great granddaughter. She enjoys spending time with her husband, her dog Hunter and her family and friends. Her hobbies are reading, jewelry making, soap making and many other crafty things. She loves beachcombing, sunshine and “wine!”
Joy generally tries to stick to the insurance and billing part of the business but does help patients with finding the “perfect eyewear”. She loves it when she can get a patient “out of their box!” with a newer, more fashionable trend in eyewear. Also she helps with optical dispensing and front desk.
